Portrait 'A Perfect Star!'
Today I spent a
wonderful hour or so meeting the wonderful Chantale and
her fabulous hubby
Nicholas St John Rosse
who has painted the most magnificent portrait of
Lee in oil. The painting is on display at the
Peter Hedley Gallery in
Wareham in Dorset until 5th July and Nicholas has kindly
donated the painting to be raffled for The
Caron Keating
Foundation. It is huge too measuring 28"x32"
unframed and estimated to be worth around £5,000.
Today (22nd June) I
took my mum, who incidentally is fast becoming a Loppy,
to view the portrait and neither of us could
believe just how beautiful the painting is and how much
it captures the likeness of Lee. Tickets will be
on sale for this very special project very soon and the
winner will be announced at the
BIG LOPPY MEET
on 18th October. The painting will also be signed
on the back by Lee to add even more value to unique
piece of art. My heartfelt thanks go out the St
John Rosses for their generosity. I know that the
Meads are honoured too. This really is something
incredibly special and I think that you will probably
